Display Your Boat at the Australian Wooden Boat Festival 2027
Expressions of Interest are currently open for owners wishing to display their boats at the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, returning to Hobart's waterfront from 5–8 February 2027.
Boat owners are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to exhibit a vessel afloat, ashore or as part of the Model Boat display. The festival welcomes a diverse range of wooden boats and celebrates the craftsmanship, heritage and stories that make each vessel unique.

Expressions of Interest for Boats Afloat close on 31 August 2026.
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st February 2027
at
South Gippsland Yacht Club - Inverloch
Owners of all wooden sailing dinghies are invited to enter.
The entry fee of $80.00 per boat gives you all these benefits:-
As well as the racing prizes, there is an award for Best Presented Boat and awards for best
presented Moth class dinghy and Sailfish class dinghy. There is also a People's Choice award.
The Inverloch regatta has been supported by the Wooden Boat Association since it began in
2014. Our members have participated in the events, assisted with organisation and
attended as spectators and supporters.
At least 40 boats have entered each year and some have come from New South Wales,
South Australia and Queensland to meet class compatriots and enjoy a great weekend of
social sailing and racing. The Sailfish class usually makes up about a third of the numbers.
