Louise was built some time between 1868 (yes, 1868) and 1940 as a Port Philip Sea Pilots tender. Rowing boat. Try rowing 7 NM out in Bass Strait in this!
It was done in all weather day and night . No life jackets , buoyancy , flares , etc just muscle power and good designed boat.
