Well known Mordialloc boat builder Jack Pompei OAM died of a heart attack on Tuesday 30 December 2008.
The Pompei Brother's boatyard is legendary, and their boats can be found all over Australia. Many Pompei boat owners bought their boat "because it's a Pompei".
